Mona Das
Former Washington State Senator, award-winning filmmaker, speaker, and systems-change advocate. Mona Das has spent her career dismantling barriers, driving systemic change, and amplifying underrepresented voices.
From pioneering environmental policies to empowering women of color in leadership, she champions equity, sustainability, and bold action. Through storytelling, advocacy, and mentorship, Mona inspires others to use their voice and their choice to challenge the status quo.
As Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary Bad Ass Women Doing Kick Ass Shit, Mona brought together 8 courageous BIPOC women who ran for political office and told their stories to the world. The film is available on Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, and major streaming platforms.
